Julie Nolta Design

I have been a designer since I was a kid, creating fully furnished little dollhouses right down to the tiny accessories and window treatments. This has since transitioned into my grown-up career of interior design.

My interest in all things creative has led me into a wide variety of projects over the years, giving me a wealth of design "know-how." Most of my adult career has been spent gaining experience in various art-related fields including interior and graphic design, printing, signage, event decorating, faux finishing, numerous types of crafting, and let's not forget the paper dolls!

George Fox University gave me a Bachelor's degree after I took every art class they offered, and I later went on to complete an advanced design program at Heritage School of Interior Design.

I was a proud member of the design teams for homes in the 2006 and 2015 Street of Dreams in Portland and the 2007 Tour of Homes in Bend where we won "Best Interior Design." A few years ago we decorated the kitchen of the Pittock Mansion for "Christmas Around the World," and I was also the lead designer for the Farrell House in the Holiday Home Tour in Camas, Washington. Sooo much fun!

Helping people find solutions to their design problems is a challenge I love - whether you need a complete makeover for your home or just a little dollhouse consultation. :-)
